With the current policy changes, it becomes more important than ever to source the correct uniform badge that meets a high-quality standard. It is also vital that the parents should be able to apply these easily.

We offer a wide range of iron-on patches, including embroidered and woven badges. We produce various shapes and sizes to match a school’s colours. If you’re looking at copying an existing school uniform badge or want to convert an existing embroidered logo to a patch, post us the badge or an embellished garment, and we will do the rest. We will provide a free sample to show the school/committees or PTAs.

Iron-on patches have the most hassle-free way of the application process, and parents can easily do this at home with the proper instructions. We have created a few videos to show how to heat seal the badges using a home iron or heat press machine.

We offer our customers high-quality badges for schools at an affordable price. Our MOQ for embroidered school uniform patches start at 25 pcs. Our woven badges are at 100 pcs. A typical school badge order of around 300 pcs would cost about £1.00 – £1.50 per badge + vat. The price falls drastically as the quantity increases. So getting a substantial order the first time becomes more critical. You can even order a free quote to see exactly how much it’ll cost, and remember, the more badges you order, the lesser you’ll have to pay.

If you have a badge or embroidery design that you need to copy, please send that to us in the post

You can either email the badge details to sales@embroiderybadge.uk or fill in the order form

We have a great online ordering system with easy-to-use order forms that allows you to fill in the vital information that we need to process your quote accurately.
Once you click the “Get a quote” button, select the type of embroidered badge. Press the select button to open the quote form for that particular product
You need to select the size and embroidery coverage. Embroiderers can choose the applique option for applique badges if required. You can then choose a quantity or add a custom quantity; the rest of the form is straightforward. As soon as you complete the quote form, you get an email with the quote id.
Once we get your quote request, we quickly create a mockup along with the prices – You then get an email with a link to log on and visit your quote page. You can now see the prices across different quantity breakdowns, showing you how much money you can save by ordering more badges.
You can also type in a custom quantity and see the instant price for that quantity.
Once you’re happy with the mockup and price – you can click approve button to move to the production sample stage; you can either ask for a digital sample photo scan or a physical sample in the post by clicking the relevant links
we now produce a physical sample of your product, scan it and send you. Picture. We will start production and deliver the badges upon approval of this sample.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Our minimum order quantity is 25 badges, although the prices drastically decrease as you order more. Many of our customers order a higher quantity and then use the spare ones as a backup for additional garments or products like gym bags, towels and more.

Can I order more than one logo to make up the 25 badges?

The minimum order quantity is 25 pcs PER design, so if you want to order two designs, you need to make sure that they are a minimum of 25 pcs for each design, including design changes, colours, borders, base or size.

Can I amend it at any time?

At Embroidery Badge, we give you complete control over amendments up until the digital mockup approval to avoid surprises. We work hard to give you free mockups to ensure that all elements of your designs and colours are correct. If you go ahead with the mockup and then decide at production approval that you need something changed, this will be chargeable with a £35 sample fee.

Can I cancel at any time?

You can, without charge, at the digital mockup stage. Once you have approved this stage and paid the setup charge of £42 for a physical/production sample, The order goes into the pre-production sample stage. If you decide to cancel at this stage, the setup charge of £42 is non-refundable. Once you have approved the physical/production sample stage and approved the production sample, there can be no cancellation.

Can I add any artwork?

Virtually yes! But please provide a high-resolution image such as a jpeg or png file; if not, send us ai or pdf files.

Can I place repeat orders?

Once you place the order and we deliver the order, the system will store your order information. To order repeats, go to your account, open the order page and click place repeat order. It is as simple as that.

What size can I choose?

A sublistitch badge can go up to 300mm, and the minimum is 20 mm. Please be aware that lettering has to be 2 mm high to remain visible.

What colours can I choose?

We have different thread charts across different products. The links to all the thread, fabric and border charts can be found in the resource centre.

If you have thread colour references already, please always state these, as this will help us to colour-match your badges more accurately.

Can I see a photograph of the finished badge before I confirm an order?

When you place an order, we have a 2 stage approval process.

In the first Digital Mockup step, we create a computer-generated mockup; the idea is to ensure that elements in the artwork are present, which will require your first approval (please note that any changes in this stage are free). Once you first approve, this will trigger the production/physical approval step, and we will create a photograph of your actual stitched-out badge. You will need to approve this to trigger the actual production.

Can I get a sample of my badge before I place the final order?

99% of our customers are happy with digital and production approval from a photograph of their badge. If you want to order a sample badge before an entire order, the cost is as follows:- £30 + VAT + tracked and signed postage from Brentwood, UK, to your destination. Please note that a physical sample request adds up to 9 days to your final delivery.

What is Digital Mockup approval?

When you place an order, we have a 2 stage approval process. In the digital mockup approval step, we create a computer-generated mockup; the idea is to ensure that elements in the artwork are present, which will require your first approval. Please ensure that each element of your bespoke badge is correct; if not, Request an amendment. Amendments at this stage are free, and the process will revert to an amended computer-generated mockup. Please be aware that each amendment can cause a delay. Once you approve, this will trigger the production/physical sample approval step.

What is production/physical sample approval?

After you approve the first mock, we create a photograph of your stitched-out badge/product. Once you approve the production scan, this will trigger production, or you can request up to four sample badges. Any amendments at this stage will be chargeable. The process will revert to an amended computer-generated digital mockup, which will require your first approval, followed by a second approval. Please be aware that an amendment at this stage will cause a delay.
