Operational Efficiency for Clubs & Kit Suppliers
From a production perspective, direct embroidery can become a bottleneck. Therefore, we provide a more efficient badge-based approach that saves machine time while maintaining a premium, professional finish on football kits and sportswear.
Save Time & Money with Appliqué Badges
By switching from high stitch-count direct embroidery to laser-cut Appliqué football badges, your embroidery machines stitch only the border. As a result, stitch counts drop significantly, machine wear is reduced, and daily output increases without compromising visual quality.
- Reduced machine time — lower stitch counts and faster completion
- Higher daily output — fewer thread breaks and less machine strain
- Professional finish — clean edges and a flatter feel on performance kits
Zero-Machine Setup with Heat Seal Patches
For sponsor logos, sleeve badges, and rapid turnarounds, heat seal football patches remove embroidery machines from the process entirely. Instead, badges are applied on-demand using a standard heat press, helping you move from warehouse to pitch faster.
- Instant branding — apply badges on demand using a heat press
- Faster turnarounds — ideal for match-day deadlines and short runs
- Flexible production — perfect for repeat orders and kit updates
Smart Inventory & “Pitch-Ready” Top-Ups
Managing kit inventory is one of the biggest challenges for clubs and suppliers. Consequently, we solve the dead-stock problem with a flexible ordering model designed for football badge top-ups and mid-season changes.
On-Demand Refills Without Dead Stock
Stocking pre-branded kits is risky and expensive. Our system allows you to stock blank garments and apply football badges only when required — without sacrificing consistency or finish.
- Stock blank garments and brand kits only when players sign
- Reduce waste by avoiding outdated sponsor or squad versions
- Respond faster to mid-season replacements and changes
The “Repeat” Protocol for Perfect Uniformity
Mid-season replacements must match the original kit exactly. Therefore, when you need repeat football badges, simply quote your previous order number. We retrieve the original digital files and Pantone-matched colour references to ensure a 100% visual match.
- Exact visual consistency across all team kits
- Stored specifications for size, colour, and construction
- Reliable reorders for clubs that require frequent top-ups
Professional Durability & Player Comfort
Elite performance kits demand finishes that feel as good as they look. Moreover, players notice discomfort immediately. That is why we recommend badge constructions and materials designed specifically for modern football shirts.
Skin-Safe Badge Construction
Our football patches eliminate the rough reverse-side stitching associated with direct embroidery. As a result, players experience a smooth, lightweight finish that suits professional performance fabrics.
Resilient Finishes for Match Conditions
From TPU to silicone football badges, our finishes are engineered to withstand repeated 40°C wash cycles and the high-abrasion demands of 90-minute matches without cracking, peeling, or fading.
Explore Advanced Football Badge Technologies
Selecting the right badge material is vital for both appearance and performance. Therefore, we guide you toward the best solution based on artwork complexity, kit fabric, and application method.
- Embroidered football badges — a traditional, textured look for local and non-league clubs.
- Woven football badges — sharper detail and cleaner text for professional crests.
- Sublimation football badges — ideal for gradients, shading, and complex artwork.
- Silicone & TPU badges — modern, durable finishes for flagship 2026 kits.
Our Two-Step Approval Process Protects Your Kit Budget
Step 1 – Free Digital Mock-up: We create a completely free digital mock-up showing the badge layout, colours, size, and a clear price breakdown. Our team checks that the design is production-ready before anything moves forward.
Step 2 – Production Sample Photo: Once approved, you pay a sample fee and we produce a real badge using the final method. We send a photograph of the actual production sample — not a render — for your final sign-off.
Only after approval do we begin bulk manufacturing. As a result, clubs and kit suppliers order with complete clarity, avoiding reworks, delays, and wasted stock.
Let’s get started! First ensure you obtain permission from the club to reproduce their artwork. If you’d like us to match your badge to an existing badge, please provide all the details (badge type/amount/size/border/backgrounds/backings/colours) and for greater accuracy, please ensure the badge picture is clear and taken from an aerial angle. Otherwise, please provide a high resolution file with any new badge designs for us to accurately copy. If you have any pantone references that is always a bonus!
Decide how you’d like to attach the badge to the uniform. There are three methods:

Iron on
Badges can be ironed on or heat pressed onto the garments (manual stitching is also recommended for greater durability).

Embroidery applique
The badge is outlined on an embroidery machine to give a fantastic finish.

Manual stitching
The badge is stitched by hand or by sewing machine.
Our art team will send various mock-ups for your approval – you will have 100% control over this to ensure the product perfectly matches your initial design.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order starts from 25 pieces per badge, depending on the type of football badge you choose. However, you can place larger orders to benefit from volume discounts. If you’re unsure which badge type suits your quantity best, simply upload your artwork and we’ll advise as part of your free quote.
What type of badge would you recommend for football badges?
It depends on your quantity, deadline, and design detail. Many local league clubs choose
embroidered football badges because they work well from 25 pieces and offer a classic finish.
Larger clubs or designs with fine text often benefit from
woven football badges.
Modern alternatives such as
silicone and
TPU badges are popular for performance kits.
All of these can be applied using heat seal, and we also recommend the appliqué method, where an embroidery machine stitches the badge border while attaching it to the garment.
What is the difference between an embroidered badge and a woven badge?
Embroidered badges use stitched threads and give a raised, textured finish. Woven badges are flatter and allow much finer detail and smaller text. To see the difference clearly, we’ve created short videos explaining each badge type.

Can you match an existing badge or direct embroidery design?
Yes. If you have Pantone references, include them for the most accurate colour matching. If not, you can upload a clear aerial photo of the existing badge or post it to us, and we’ll match the colours as closely as possible. Everything is then confirmed through our two-step approval process before production.
How soon can I expect my order?
Timelines depend on the badge type. Embroidered, chenille, and 3D puff badges are typically shipped within 10–12 working days.
Repeat orders usually ship within 7–9 working days.
Please allow around 2–3 weeks for woven badges.
Specialist badge types can vary. If you have a deadline, tell us when uploading your artwork and we’ll advise the fastest suitable option.
Can I see a photograph of the finished badge before I confirm an order?
Yes. We use a two-step approval process. First, we send a digital mock-up to confirm layout, colours, size, and details (changes at this stage are free). Once approved, we create a photograph of the actual stitched or produced badge for second approval. Only after this do we proceed with production. Changes at the second stage are chargeable, as they require rework.
Can I get a sample of my badge before I fully order?
Most customers are happy to approve from photographs. However, if you would like a physical sample before full production, we can supply this for £30 + VAT plus tracked and signed postage from the UK. Please note that requesting a physical sample typically adds around 9 days to the overall delivery time.
What is first approval?
First approval is the digital mock-up stage. You check layout, text, colours, and sizing. If changes are needed, we update the mock-up and resend it. Amendments at this stage are free, although multiple revisions may extend timelines. Once approved, the order moves to second approval.
What is second approval?
Second approval is the approval of the production sample photograph showing the actual stitched or produced badge. Any changes at this stage are chargeable and require the process to revert back to a revised mock-up followed by another sample photo. Once second approval is given, production begins.
What files of my image are accepted?
Please upload the highest quality file you have. Accepted formats include: EMB, DST, JPEG, PNG, AI, PDF, EPS.
If you only have a photo of an existing badge, upload that as well — ideally taken from directly above for clarity.
Here are the top 5 choices for Football badges; the quantity and the complexity of your logo dictate the final choice.
Sublimation badges or printed sublimation patches
A sublimation badge is created by printing your image onto a badge fabric using a unique technique where the print ink penetrates the fibres of your fabric. This means that the print will not crack or peel.
- Suitable for complex artwork and artwork that contains smaller unconnected objects like stars
- This is the best option if your logos have shadows, gradients, shading and blends.
- Suitable for smaller quantities from 25 pieces only
- Looks richer with a satin stitched-edged border
- although the final effect is flat, it retains the most detail.
- Sublimation patches can be delivered fast, with 24-48 hours for production scan and 7-9 days delivery for the final production.
Embroidered badges
Embroidered badges do make your logo and image stand out, but there are some limitations on size and complexity. For example, if you use a standard Arial or a similar font, the minimum size of each letter should be at least 4mm high to look good.
- Suitable for simple artwork with simple text
- Suitable for smaller quantities from 25 pieces only
- Looks richer with a satin stitched-edged border
- Although the final effect stands out, its best suitable for more straightforward artwork.
- Embroidered patches can be delivered fast, with 24 hours for production scans and 7-9 working days for delivery.
Woven Patches
Woven patches are created on a weaving machine where the design is interwoven into the fabric, forming a part of the fabric itself.
- Suitable for complex artwork, with smaller text from 2.5mm tall
- It’s not possible to achieve complex gradients and blends
- Minimum quantities start at 100 pcs. Approval production scan takes five days, and production time is generally two weeks after approval
- Looks richer with an overlocked border, but an overlocked border is not suitable for complex shapes
- although the final effect is flat, it retains the most detail. And it stands out a bit more than sublimation badges
TPU Badges
TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) badges are a popular choice in the football industry due to their durability, flexibility, and high-quality finish. They can withstand extreme temperatures, sunlight exposure, and wear and tear, making them ideal for use on football kits and merchandise. TPU badges also offer precise detailing and vibrant color options, ensuring your team’s emblem stands out on the pitch.
Raised Silicone transfers
Raised Silicone Transfers are especially suitable for logos with floating text or multiple parts that are not connected, such as stars or taglines. They offer a unique, textured feel that makes the design stand out and are made from a flexible, durable silicone material that can be molded into intricate designs. Because of their ability to add dimension to individual elements of a logo, raised silicone transfers are a popular choice for football kits and merchandise, ensuring your team’s emblem stands out on the pitch.
