What is the minimum order?The minimum order is from 25 upwards per badge depending on the type of badge you choose,  however;  you can place a larger order and take advantage of one of our discount offers.

What type of badge would you recommend for football badges?

Many local league clubs choose classic embroidery badges as a minimum order of 25 badges will offer the team and substitutes more than one badge, either for another shirt or to attach to merchandise. Larger clubs could benefit from woven badges as a minimum order of 200. PVC badges make an excellent alternative. All these badges can be attached by heat-seal, whilst we also recommend the applique method of attachment, an embroidery machine sews the badge border whilst attaching it to the garment at the same time.

Can we match an existing badge or direct embroidery design?

Yes! All you have to do is let us know the specifications and the thread colours by stating the pantone references or by using our high resolution shade cards. Alternatively post the existing badge to us and we’ll match the colours as closely as possible for you.

How soon can I expect my order?

Embroidered, Chenille and 3D Puff are shipped within 10-12 working days. Repeats orders are shipped from 7-9  working days. Please allow 2-3 weeks for woven badges. Specialists badges will vary.

Can I see a photograph of the finished badge before I confirm an order?
When you place an order, we have a 2 stage approval process. In the first approval step we create a photograph of a computer generated  mockup,  the  idea is to  ensure that elements in the artwork are present and this will require your first approval (please note any changes in this stage are free). Once you first approve, this will trigger the second approval step and we create a photograph of your actual stitched out badge. Once you second approve, this will trigger production or you can request upto 4 sample badges to be sent to you (please note any changes at this stage will be chargeable). 

Can I get a sample of my badge before I fully order?
99% of our customers are happy to first and second approve from a photograph of their badge. If you want to order a sample badge before a full order then the cost is as follows:- £30 + VAT + tracked and signed postage from Brentwood UK to your destination. Please note that an actual physical sample request adds about 9 days to your final delivery.

Once you first approve, this will trigger the second approval step and we create a photograph of your actual stitched out badge. Any amendments at this stage will be chargeable and the process will revert back to an amended computer generated mockup, which will require your first approval, followed by a second approval. Please be aware that an amendment at this stage will cause a delay. Once you second approve, this will trigger production or you can request upto four sample badges.

What files of my image are accepted?
A high resolution file of an ariel image of your badge design is required; EMB, DST, JPEG, PNG, Ai, PDF, EPS

Here are the top 5 choices for Football badges; the quantity and the complexity of your logo dictate the final choice. 

Sublimation badges or printed sublimation patches

A sublimation badge is created by printing your image onto a badge fabric using a unique technique where the print ink penetrates the fibres of your fabric. This means that the print will not crack or peel.

1. Suitable for complex artwork and artwork that contains smaller unconnected objects like stars 
2. This is the best option if your logos have shadows, gradients, shading and blends.
3. Suitable for smaller quantities from 25 pieces only
4. Looks richer with a satin stitched-edged border
5. although the final effect is flat, it retains the most detail.
6. Sublimation patches can be delivered fast, with 24-48 hours for production scan and 7-9 days delivery for the final production.

Embroidered badges

Embroidered badges do make your logo and image stand out, but there are some limitations on size and complexity. For example, if you use a standard Arial or a similar font, the minimum size of each letter should be at least 4mm high to look good.

1. Suitable for simple artwork with simple text
2. Suitable for smaller quantities from 25 pieces only
3. Looks richer with a satin stitched-edged border
4. Although the final effect stands out, its best suitable for more straightforward artwork.
5. Embroidered patches can be delivered fast, with 24 hours for production scans and 7-9 working days for delivery.

Woven Patches

Woven patches are created on a weaving machine where the design is interwoven into the fabric, forming a part of the fabric itself.

1. Suitable for complex artwork, with smaller text from 2.5mm tall 
2. It’s not possible to achieve complex gradients and blends 
3. Minimum quantities start at 100 pcs. Approval production scan takes five days, and production time is generally two weeks after approval
4. Looks richer with an overlocked border, but an overlocked border is not suitable for complex shapes
5. although the final effect is flat, it retains the most detail. And it stands out a bit more than sublimation badges

TPU Badges

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) badges are a popular choice in the football industry due to their durability, flexibility, and high-quality finish.
