A laser border is cut to the shape of the design and is ideal for more intricate shapes that may have multiple in-cuts and sharp angles

Overlocked Border (Merrow Border)
The most common type of border is a overlocked border, which goes around the edge of the entire patch, and is always about 3mm thick. A overlocked border is best suited for simple shapes, such as circles, ovals, squares, rectangles, and basic badge shapes etc
