Decide how you’d like to attach the badge to the uniform. There are three methods:

Iron on

Badges can be ironed on or heat pressed onto the garments (manual stitching is also recommended for greater durability).

Embroidery applique

The badge is outlined on an embroidery machine to give a fantastic finish.

Manual stitching

The badge is stitched by hand or by sewing machine.

Our art team will send various mock-ups for your approval – you will have 100% control over this to ensure the product perfectly matches your initial design.

What is the minimum quantity for ordering custom emergency service badges and patches?

99% of our clients are satisfied with digital and production approvals from photos of their firefighter patch, paramedic badge, or police patch. If you want a sample badge or patch before placing a complete order, the cost is £35 + VAT + £7 for tracked and signed UK delivery from Brentwood, UK, to your destination. If you proceed with the order, the sample amount and VAT will be deducted from your final invoice. Please note that requesting an actual physical sample adds up to 9 days to your final delivery time.

What is Digital Mock-up approval for emergency service badges and patches?

Any changes at this stage will incur charges, and the process will revert to an amended computer-rendered digital mockup, requiring your first and second approval. Be aware that any changes at this stage will result in delays. After your second approval, production will begin, or you can request up to four sample badges.

Which file types and formats are accepted for custom emergency service badges and patches?
